Description

The AEM Cold Air Intake System (P/N 21-803C) is engineered to deliver increased horsepower and torque by replacing the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing on select Chevrolet Malibu and Volkswagen models from 2016 to 2022 with the 2.0T engine. This intake system has been tuned and dyno-tested to maximize airflow and efficiency, helping your engine breathe better and perform stronger. At the heart of the system is an oversized, tapered AEM Dryflow air filter made from oil-free synthetic media, which offers exceptional filtration and airflow while requiring minimal maintenance. The filter sits in the stock air box location and is protected by a custom-designed heat shield to reduce intake air temperatures for optimized performance. The mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube features a gunmetal gray powder-coated finish for durability and a sleek appearance. This system supports the factory mass airflow sensor and PCV line and installs easily using common tools. While backed by AEMƒ??s Lifetime Limited Warranty, this intake is not legal for sale or use in California or other states following California emission standards.
