Description

The AEM Cold Air Intake System (P/N 21-778C) is built for Mitsubishi Lancer models from 2015 to 2017 with 2.0L or 2.4L engines, delivering increased horsepower and torque by replacing the factory air intake system. Air enters through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter, relocated to the driver-side wheel well to draw in cooler air and reduce intake temperatures. The system features a dual-tube designƒ?? a lower mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube with a durable gunmetal gray powder-coated finish, and an upper roto-molded HDPE tube engineered for aerodynamic flow and heat insulation. Developed to work with factory emissions control devices, including the mass airflow sensor and PCV hose, the oil-free air filter can go up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed. Legal status varies by state due to emissions regulations.
