The AEM 21-678C Cold Air Intake System is engineered to increase horsepower and torque for Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, MR, and GSR models from 2008 to 2015. This high-performance system replaces the restrictive factory intake components with a tuned and dyno-tested setup that maximizes airflow and engine responsiveness. Air enters through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter, mounted in the original air box location and protected by a replacement air box designed to reduce intake air temperature for better power delivery. The intake tubing is crafted from aluminum and finished in a durable gunmetal gray powder coat. This system accommodates all OEM emissions control components, including the mass air flow sensor, air bypass valve, and engine vacuum lines, and includes a replacement rubber inlet hose for seamless integration. With an oil-free Dryflow filter that lasts up to 100,000 miles before cleaning, this system offers long-term performance and reliability.
