Description

The AEM Cold Air Intake System (P/N 21-808C) is engineered to enhance performance by increasing horsepower and torque for Subaru Legacy and Outback models from 2015 to 2016 with the 2.5L F/I engine. This intake system improves airflow by drawing in cooler, denser air through a cone-shaped AEM Dryflow synthetic filter positioned lower and toward the front of the vehicle. This strategic placement helps maximize cold air intake, leading to better engine response and performance. The oil-free Dryflow filter provides exceptional filtration and airflow, and can last up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is required, depending on driving conditions. A heat shield protects the filter from radiant engine heat, while the mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube minimizes air restriction and is finished in a durable gray powder coat.
