With a centrifugal supercharger unit at its core, our kit offers superior reliability and huge power gains with zero boost lag. Due to its unique frictional planetary roller drive, the compressor produces boost with greater efficiency and cooler air temperatures than traditional forced induction methods. The supercharger provides smooth, linear, instant power delivery through the entire rev range to give predictable, precise control during throttle input.  This allows complete command over engine power, whether crawling through a boulder-filled trail or attempting to conquer the highest hilltop. Boost is raised to 7.5psi, 2 psi higher than previous years, thanks to Yamaha's inclusion of upgraded GYTR connecting rods in this generation YXZ 1000R.
